Some people wear their hearts on their sleeve, but in Nicole Kidman's case, she prefers to wear it around her neck (flawlessly, may we add).
First, let us rewind and set the scene. The actress attended the 27th Annual Art Directors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. Like other award shows, the event recognizes excellence in film, but also extends to production design of commercials and music videos.
Although, not nominated, Nicole showed up and showed out in a killer look before presenting fellow Australian and Elvis director Baz Luhrmann with the Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery award. Now, there wasn't an award for best dressed, but if there was, well, Miss Nicole would win in a landslide.
At 55, the actress rocked a sleek, asymmetrical black gown that flaunted her toned arms and a slit at the bottom that showed off her simple black pumps. She traded in her naturally curly locks for a casual, straightened look, and wore an epic statement necklace minimal.
Like her dress, her anatomically accurate heart-shaped necklace was designed by Schiaparelli, the same designer behind Kylie Jenner's viral lion head dress and Bella Hadid's lung-inspired dress at the Cannes Film Festival.
Nicole's look was taken straight off the Fall 2022 Couture runway and just like on the model, it looks breathtaking and sophisticated.
Shortly, after Nicole debuted yet another stunning red carpet look as she attended the Oscars with husband, Keith Urban. The two, who have been married for 16 years, weren't scared to show a little bit a lot of PDA for onlookers.
Like her Guild Awards dress, she went with a sequined black gown designed with a risky leg slit and bold details. We don't know if the black ensemble should be considered her signature look, but she sure does know how to make a LBD something marvelous.
