Shopping aficionados know that after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, one of the best times of the year to find the biggest deals comes as part of Nordstrom’s exclusive Anniversary Sale event.
After unveiling the details for this year's sale, Nordstrom is kicking things off with a bang. Beginning today, select Nordy Club members can now shop the sale ahead of the general public, meaning they get first dibs on a huge assortment of fashion, beauty and home finds.

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is the department store’s biggest, best, and most popular sale of the year, featuring deals of up to 40 per cent off your favourite designers like Zella, Madewell, Paige and more.
This sale is different from the rest though, because it includes markdowns on brand-new arrivals rather than end of season items, but only for a limited time. Once the Anniversary Sale is over, prices go back up to regular price.
New for 2021, Nordstrom is also adding more than 100 brands to their roster of markdowns, including Outdoor Research, IVL Collective, Club Monaco, Dyson, BDG Urban Outfitters, Reiss, Jenni Kayne, Nécessaire, Billabong, Open Edit, SPGBK Watches, La Ligne, Dagne Dover and more.
When can I shop the Anniversary Sale?
The Anniversary Sale officially opens to the public on July 28 at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT and runs until Aug. 8, with Icons, Ambassadors and Influencers able to shop earlier. And even if you're not yet able to shop, Nordstrom is already offering shoppers a chance to preview the Anniversary Sale and add items to their wish list, even if you're not yet able to shop
Select Nordy Club members can already gain early access to shop the sale depending on their membership level. As of today, Icons and Ambassadors can shop the sale, while Influencers will have to wain until July 16.
How do I sign up for a Nordy Club membership, and what are the levels of access for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Nordstrom's exclusive rewards membership offers shoppers plenty of perks, including early access to the annual Anniversary Sale. Depending on the amount spent at Nordstrom over the course of a year, your membership status increases, and so do the benefits.
Entry membership: The first level of a Nordy Club membership is free to sign up in stores or online, and while it doesn't grant early access to the Anniversary Sale, it does let you earn points for every dollar spent, plus receive free basic alterations in-store and first access to shop select brands.
Influencer: As the second membership tier, you'll score Influencer status after spending more than $500 at Nordstrom within a calendar year. It grants you all the same perks as an entry membership, plus early Anniversary Sale access, double points shopping days, and exclusive access to style events.
Ambassador: To reach Ambassador status, you'll need to spend more than $5,000 at Nordstrom within a year. It grants all the benefits of Influencer status, plus invite-only events at at-home stylist access.
Icon: As the most exclusive membership status, Icons are the first to shop the Anniversary Sale every year, along with a whole host of Icon-only benefits. Membership doesn't come cheap though — you'll need to spend at least $15,000 at Nordstrom within a year to reach this top-tier status.
