The Tulip 139 Sneaker by Scandinavian designer Ilse Jacobsen is a bestselling model for its breathability, comfort and versatility.
So, its no wonder why Nordstrom customers have popularized the shoe to be a go-to slip-on for around the house, the garden, and even the classroom.
Even better news for fans of the Tulip 139 is that a pair is now only $55 - nearly $30 less as part of the Anniversary Sale.

The unique scallop-embossed frames and all-over teardrop perforations add to the shoe’s comfortability.
Plus, the sneaker’s upper is whipstitched (a super strong sewing stitch used in crocheting and knitting) to a flexible rubber sole that has a removable cushion inside.
Nordstrom recommends ordering a size up from what you’d normally wear, since the Tulip 139 is said to run a bit small.

Now that the Anniversary Sale is open to all shoppers, you’ll want to grab a pair before prices go back up on Aug. 31 - the Tulip 139 will hit its original price of $84 after the sale ends.
According to Nordstrom customers, the sneakers are well worth the purchase.
“Sooooo comfortable,” said one five star reviewer. “These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes ever. First time on I was able to walk the dog with no break-in period needed.”
Another five star review entitled “The most amazing casual shoes” suggests you don’t need to size up after all, like several customers have mentioned in the product’s comment section.

“New favourite shoe find! I ended up returning a pair of jeans and buying a second colour in the shoes. These are by far the most comfortable and well-fitting shoes I have found in awhile,” said the reviewer. “I am a teacher and am on my feet all day and these are fabulous! I bought black and army green and have not regretted the purchase. I did not size up. I never wear a nine and always wear an eight in these types of shoes and the eight fit perfectly.”
