'Nothing short of heavenly': This wildly popular showerhead is down to just $16
Nearly 18,000 5-star fans love this affordable bathroom upgrade for its high-pressure feel and easy installation.
As much as you deserve to book a romantic, luxurious spa trip to the Poconos this winter, that's not always an option. However, there are some little things you can do to bring said spa retreat to your bathroom — namely, your shower. Intrigued? If you want an inexpensive, easy way to elevate your shower experience, pay attention (especially if you're a Prime member): The price of the fan-favorite Hopopro High-Pressure Shower Head has been slashed to just $16 at Amazon.
This high-flow fixture has five different settings and is made with rust-proof chrome.
Why is it a good deal? 💰
If you've watched more than five minutes of HGTV, then you know that upgrading your bathroom is one of the most expensive rehab projects you can do. At just $16 for Prime members, this showerhead is an easy way to get a fancy upgrade minus the financial headache (and the sledgehammer). It's available in six finishes like chrome and bronze to match your decor, though prices vary. And if you don't have Prime, fear not: It's still an impressive $18 for other shoppers.
Why do I need this? 🤔
If you struggle with low water pressure, this high-flow showerhead is designed to make it feel like you're rinsing off in a rainforest. There are five modes: rain, massage, mist, rain and massage, and rain and mist. The 4.1-inch head provides a broad coverage area and gives you the sensation of standing under a tropical waterfall without having to hop on a plane.
Made with corrosion-resistant chrome, it comes with a built-in water filter and has 47 self-cleaning nozzles that prevent mineral build-up — that means nothing can get between you and your rejuvenation. It's also easy to install, so you won't need to call a plumber to get it up and running. It's a fixed head, but you can adjust the angle thanks to the ball joint.
What reviewers say 💬
This showerhead has a massive fanbase — it's racked up nearly 18,000 five-star ratings peppered with phrases like "rivals the high-end ones." Shoppers can't say enough good things about it.
Pros 👍
According to multiple fans, you may need a reminder to end your shower. "It was easy to install and easy to switch to the five settings," wrote one rave reviewer. "The rain setting feels so good, you don't want to get out of the shower!"
Another echoed that thought. "Holy gosh to goodness," shared a five-star fan. "That rain mode is nothing short of heavenly! I just want to be in the shower all day and night now. Addictive, yes! Be warned!"
If you have low water pressure, this is a great pick. "I used to have a shower head that didn't have much pressure. It was one of those [that's handheld]," wrote a happy shopper. "I guess, over time, the pressure just went away. ... But I bought this thing and, oh my gosh, it's like night and day. [There was] a lot of pressure. It really upgraded my shower game. I love it. Everyone who uses it notices how much pressure there is."
Cons 👎
Although most fans love this showerhead, this user did run into installation trouble. "A couple of tools in the box were odd. [The] wrench didn't fit and there was a plastic something. Instructions could have been [clearer]."
Another shopper warned that you should keep track of the included hardware since you need that particular wrench for setup. "I dislike that it needs a special wrench for installation, but it works great, and I love the massage setting."
The showerhead also comes in this larger version for those who have more space and really want to take the plunge.
Psst: This nifty accessory makes a fabulous add-on.
Get ready for a blissful bathing sesh, thanks to this genius scrubber that can be mounted on the wall to scratch your back or placed on the floor to massage your feet. Not only will it feel like heaven, its bristles will also help clean hard-to-reach places, like between your toes, without you needing to bend over.
"This scrubber works great for cleaning my feet," raved a shopper. "The gazillion little silicone bristles provide a gentle scrub to clean my toes, heels and instep. The suction cups provide a firm grip to the tub so I am safe to stand on the scrubber. I have also placed it on the shower wall to see if it could be used effectively to scrub my back. It can. It seems to be made well. I anticipate getting several years of use from it."
If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)
