Older Adults, Tell Us About The Things You Actually Loved About Your Body As You Aged
We spend so much of life wishing our bodies were different in some way. From bemoaning teenage acne to cursing wrinkles and folds in older adulthood, it seems like there's always something to dislike.
The body-shame narrative is everywhere, though, and I'm tired of it! Instead, I want to hear from you, older adults, about the things you actually loved about your body as you aged.
Did you feel stronger than ever past a certain age?
Do you feel more beautiful now in your own skin than you did in your younger years?
Do the permanent changes to your body after pregnancy actually just remind you of how proud you are to be a mother?
Whatever is bringing you joy about your body in older age, we would love to hear about it. Drop us a line in the comments, or via this anonymous form.
