Barbie, that eternal icon who has held down over 250 jobs and owns at least two dozen houses, turns 65 this year. To commemorate this major milestone, the toymakers at Mattel have planned several limited-edition releases, like a line of dolls based on “Global Storytellers” including actor Viola Davis, singer Shania Twain, and film director Lila Avilés. Mattel is also collaborating with over 40 different brands to celebrate Barbie, including Heinz UK, Stacy’s Pita Chips, and prebiotic soda company Olipop.

On May 1, Olipop officially released its newest flavor, Olipop x Barbie Peaches & Cream. Although Wednesday marked its debut on Olipop’s online store, the Peaches & Cream soda has already been available in some supermarket and other retail chains — and it’s so popular, Olipop says it’s even outselling eggs at the Sprouts chain. Eggs!

“With a legacy spanning generations, Barbie's narrative continues to inspire, and Olipop  is proud to be part of the Barbie celebration as a brand partner,” Olipop said in a statement. “Both brands carry a sense of nostalgia intertwined with innovation, offering a bridge between generations and a platform for shared experiences.”

"Working with an iconic brand like Barbie has been as much of a dream as you’d expect and that’s translating to how people are showing up to try it," said Chad Wilson, head of marketing at Olipop. "Our Olipop x Barbie Peaches & Cream cans are flying off the shelves in stores, a testament to the irresistible flavor and eye-catching can design. We're so grateful to the loyal brand fans who are hunting down the limited-edition collab! "

If you’d like to get your hands on a can (or a dozen cans) of the Olipop x Barbie Peaches & Cream soda, you can purchase it through Olipop’s online store or on Amazon. It has a suggested retail price of $2.49 per can or $35.99 for a 12-pack, but if you know you’re going to love the new flavor, subscribe-and-save customers can save 15% by ordering through DrinkOlipop.com. Single cans of the new flavor — and other Olipop faves — are available at Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and other retailers.

Olipop's virtual Peaches & Cream kitchen features a “soda-filled fridge” that will open for 5,000 lucky website visitors — up to 1,000 times each day.

And if you’re one of the soda lovers who sees the fridge open, you’ll receive a digital coupon for a free can of  Olipop x Barbie Peaches & Cream soda that can be redeemed at a Walmart store or on Walmart.com. (Before you ask, you can only win once during that five-day period).

Wherever you get your Olipop, don’t forget to raise that can in honor of Barbie herself. She looks fantastic for someone who’s spent the past six decades working several hundred different jobs.
