Olivia Rodrigo's itsy-bitsy string bikini is huuuuge summer inspo
Okay so we all agree we're obsessed with Olivia Rodrigo, right? The singer-songwriter had us in our feels with first album Sour then swiftly got us in our riot grrrl bag with follow-up Guts. A staunch advocate for gender equality and reproductive freedom, she even handed out the morning after pill at a gig.
And let's not forget about her truly killer fashion sense. A little bit pop punk, a little bit 90s, she rocks everything from tartan mini skirts and sassy slogan tops to luxe Marc Jacobs Kika boots. Some of her biggest style moments include a Carrie Bradshaw-esque leather boob tube, a 90s supermodel updo, an ethereal white corset dress, and even a seriously iconic Y2k butterfly dress designed by none other than Dua Lipa.
Fresh from crashing the Coachella set of freshly reformed No Doubt (the band which catapulted Gwen Stefani to fame in the 1990s and 2000s, FYI) during which Olivia provided additional vocals to deep cut 'Bathwater', the musician has shared some IG snaps showing her enjoying some rare down time.
And one thing we're kind of obsessed with? Olivia's choice of swimwear! The 21-year-old has proved that the string bikini is here to stay for another year, wearing a black and white gingham checked two-piece with string ties, high-leg briefs and rose pattern embellishments. She accessorised with red frame sunglasses and a pair of (suitably grunge) black Converse high tops.
