Olivia Rodrigo's plunging corset dress is giving angelic bridal vibes

Scroll through Olivia Rodrigo's most recent 'fits, and it seems lately the Gen Z artist is almost exclusively wearing simple, strappy dresses suited to summertime. Despite the (practically) freezing temperatures we've suddenly found ourselves in. Admittedly, one of her recent looks does appear to be a Halloween costume, with Olivia styling her red spaghetti strap dress with vampire fangs. But still...

Take her most recent Instagram post, for example. To announce the release of her new single 'Can't Catch Me Now' from The Hunger Games prequel, Olivia shared a Polaroid photograph of herself standing in a field and wearing a white dress featuring super thin spaghetti straps, a plunging neckline, and a corset bodice with visible boing and hook and eye fastenings down the centre. Although the snap cuts off just below Olivia's hips, it appears the dress flares out into a flowy skirt.

Needless to say, Olivia looks stunning. Even with the dress' simple design, it still packs a punch and creates a striking impact. We're not sure whether it's giving angelic or bridal vibes, but either way, we love it.

For her TV appearance, Olivia wore a lilac leather mini dress. This number also featured spaghetti straps, with a low-cut V-neck. The GUTS singer kept the rest of her look equally minimal, adding block-heeled silver mules, silver hoop earrings, and a selection of rings.

We can't wait to see if her strappy dress era lives on.
