OMG, Padma Lakshmi's Nipple-Baring IG Snap Has The Internet *Freaking* Out

  • Padma Lakshmi just dropped more behind-the-scenes content from her Sports Illustrated Swim shoot, and celebrity chef is bringing the heat.

  • In one pic, Padma shows off her epic abs in a free-the-nipple moment where she's wearing only a totally see-through coverup.

  • Padma hits the gym at least five times a week, and typically follows a plant-based diet when she's not filming.

People completely lost their minds in May when Padma Lakshmi posed for the Sports Illustrated Swim edition in a teeny, gold, metal bikini. Now, Padma is here with more pics from the issue and, let me be the first to say—these shots are totally next level.

The first image features the 52-year-old in a seaweed-style bikini that puts her strong abs and sculpted legs on full display. Swipe and you’ll see Padma showing off her toned arms while posing in a leopard-print bikini. And finally, there’s Padma hanging by the water in a completely see-through, netted, coverup dress, enjoying an epic free-the-nipple moment.

“It’s warming up 💛,” she wrote in the caption. Of course, everyone totally freaked out in the comments section. “Oh Padma... you alone can be the cause of global warming 🔥 gossshhh ❤️❤️❤️,” one said, while another wrote, “I’m sweating.”

Remember that gold bikini? Padma also shared a video of herself posing in it, and it’s clear she loved the suit as much as the rest of the world did. “This is me. I wouldn’t go back to my 20s if you paid me all the money in the world,” she wrote.

Padma is clearly strong and toned these days. So, what’s she been doing with regards to her health and wellness routines? A lot, actually. Padma's super active—she just dropped a video of herself and her daughter Krishna roller skating down a city street in the coolest jumpsuits.

But Padma is also a regular at the gym. She previously told Women’s Health that she works out at least five times a week, doing 90-minute sessions. She likes to jump rope and usually does about 2,000 strokes a day.

Also in the mix: Pilates. Padma said she started doing it when her chiropractor recommended it for her back pain and scoliosis, noting that it “changed” her body. “It made me strong in places I didn’t know I needed to be,” she said. “I have a butt now that I didn’t have during my modeling career.”

And that's not all. Padma ~also~ does weight training, doing things like flipping tires and battle ropes, along with P.volve (a low-impact fitness routine that celebs like Jennifer Aniston adore).

When it comes to her diet, Padma practically eats for a living, but she tries to follow a plant-based diet when she’s not filming. Padma told WH that she usually starts her day with a masala chai and a splash of milk, followed by cottage cheese or yogurt with a toasted English muffin and blackberries or blueberries. Lunch is often leftovers from dinner the night before, which might include things like lasagna, lentils, or rice in a sautéed vegetable curry with an Indian yogurt-based sauce called raita.

Padma loves to cook. Her Instagrams are filled with pics of dishes she’s made, including these mouthwatering-looking Persian dumplings:

Keep doing you, Padma!
