Only Julia Fox would wear heeled Crocs on a sightseeing hike in Greece
Having recently returned from a week's summer holiday in Greece (in which the majority of my time was spent sightseeing the innumerable Ancient Greek ruins and eating souvlaki for every single meal) I would recommend a visit there to anyone. My top tips include packing plenty of sun cream and comfortable footwear, with my daily step count regularly surpassing 15,000 steps. In short, leave your heels – even your heeled Crocs – at home.
Even if I had been able to share my sage advice with Julia Fox before she jetted off to Delos Island, I doubt she would have listened. From low-rise maxi skirts made entirely out of boxer shorts to pearl-threaded wired bras, many words have been accredited to describe her statement style, but practical is not one of them. So when the model-turned-actress-turned-author opted for the Crocs heeled Siren clogs for a touristy day, we shouldn't have been surprised.
The actress shared a series of photos on her Instagram stories of herself carrying her three-year-old son, Valentino while exploring the island's history. Dressed in a grey tank top adorned with 3D white bows and a drop-waist white mini skirt layered over see-through floral lace bike shorts, she accessorised the 'fit with a green cap and oversized sunglasses. But, it was her footwear that easily captured attention as she posed in the stacked shoes while perched precariously on rocky ground.
The Crocs in question are part of the footwear brand's collaboration with Simone Rocha, immediately recognisable by the pearl and gem embellishment. While the limited edition design will set you back three figures, we're planning on recreating Julia's look with a look-alike white pair and our own Jibbitz charms for a customised look.
Just maybe not for a hike up a Greek mountain...
