Orlando Bloom Shares His Favorite Things About Family Time with His Two Kids: 'It's Connection' (Exclusive)

The actor and fiancé Katy Perry share daughter Daisy, while Bloom is also dad to son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr

Orlando Bloom is sharing what makes family time special for him.

The Pirates of the Caribbean alum, 47, opened up about what family time looks like for him in an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip shared with PEOPLE ahead of the actor's appearance in the three-part Peppa Pig wedding special that airs starting March 25 on Nickelodeon.

"Family time is, for me, a meal together. Sitting down at a table," Bloom shares. "It is going out on a walk or going on an adventure. It's games, it's play. It's connection. It's holding hands and hugging. And telling people you love them a lot."

Bloom is dad to daughter Daisy, 3, whom he shares with fiancé Katy Perry, 39. He is also dad to son Flynn, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, 40.

In November, Bloom's daughter made her first public appearance as she attended her mom's Las Vegas residency.

As the singer introduced her 2008 single "Hot n Cold," she hesitated for a second so she could shout out her little girl, whom she welcomed in August 2020.

"Daisy! I love you so much," Perry said, as seen in fan-captured footage shared on X. "You're my best friend, I'm so glad you're here."

"I'm gonna sing this next song — I think you know it?" the proud mom continued, speaking directly to her daughter, who was seen in a Minnie Mouse costume in the audience.

In 2022, Perry shared with PEOPLE about how her daughter is equal parts Mom and Dad, explaining, "Daisy is great. She is a combination of both me and her father, which we are fearless with lots of chutzpah and just big characters. So the combination of us both is definitely coming out."

"It's amazing to see everything new again through a toddler's eyes," the mom of one added.
