Orlando Bloom’s son Flynn had the most adorable reaction to ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’

Orlando Bloom finally let his son Flynn watch his debut as Will Turner in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and the six-year-old was very impressed with his famous dad’s skills as a pirate.

During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (May 25), the star confessed that he has been “very reluctant” to let his little boy watch his movies because he “didn’t want [Flynn] to know what [he] did for a while.” But now that Flynn is in school, Orlando wanted to be the one to show him his films before kids at school beat him to the punch.

“He started school and I was like, ‘Well, older brothers and sisters…’ [Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales] was coming out and they’ll talk about it, and I wanted to have that moment of showing him me in Pirates of the Caribbean ,” he confessed to the late-night host.

So last summer while the father-son duo were in France, Orlando decided it was time for Flynn to see him in action. “It was on a little TV; it wasn't a big grand screen or anything at all. But I just flicked it on and he was watching it,” he explained.

He also admitted that he captured his son’s hilarious reaction on camera. “[Flynn] said 'Wait, that's you! What? That's you,’” the star recalled. While the young boy was initially shocked to see his father in the movie, his shock quickly turned to awe as he couldn’t believe his dad had such impressive ‘pirate abilities.’

“’So, wait a second: How long can you hold your breath under water for? Did you really do that?'” asked the youngster, to which Orlando played along. “Yeah, bro! Forever! I could walk from one side of the ocean to the other” the actor replied, adding, “Because he still believes that!”
