TLC host Paige Davis may have the cutest meet-cute of all time. The Trading Spaces star first crossed paths with husband Patrick Page on the national stage tour of Beauty and the Beast more than 20 years ago. She took on the role of flirty feather duster Babette. He played charming candelabra Lumiere. The rest - as they say - was "a tale as old as time."

Paige Davis's most famous role is of course playing herself. As the lovable guide to both homeowners and designers on Trading Spaces, she cemented herself as the ultimate cheerleader who could navigate even the most uncomfortable reveals. (Remember Crying Pam?)

Now that the original home makeover show is coming back after a 10-year hiatus, Paige is prepared to pick up a paintbrush once again with the cast she calls her family, but her real support system comes in the form of her spouse of 17 years.

Patrick - dubbed the "villain of Broadway" by Playbill - has an impressive career in his own right. The 55-year-old has played Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas's Grinch, Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark’s Green Goblin, The Lion King’s Scar, The Hunchback of Notre Dame’s Frollo, and Othello’s Iago.

"What is most funny about it to me is that Patrick has quite the reputation for being the go-to villain in New York City, but when I met him he was playing Lumiere, who is the figurative and literal light of the play," Paige, 48, told Playbill in 2016. "I always wonder why after he met me all his roles became villains," she joked.

Paige has some impressive acting credits herself. Besides playing the lead in the national revival tour of Sweet Charity in 2007, she reprised her turn as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway.

"I’ve had the chance to watch her in that role over a period of about 15 years, so that’s [been] an amazing process," Patrick told Playbill in their joint interview. "Every time she does it ... she makes more progress and deepens it even more."

Their mutual admiration doesn't mean marriage is a bed of (enchanted) roses, however. Their number one piece of relationship advice? "You have to work on it," Patrick said. "If you think you’re just going to fall in love and stay in love and that it’s going to be easy or fun - if you think that’s the whole ball game - you’re not going to make it."

The couple experienced a reckoning moment of their own when they decided not to have children. In 2014, Paige opened up about that choice in a candid blog post on her website.

"We had an eye-opening discussion at dinner a number of years ago," she wrote. "We were talking about having a baby when I admitted I’d only be doing it for him. Then he said, 'Well, I was only considering it for you.' What a shock to realize each of us was willing to 'go there' only for the other person."

Today, this couple is still making waves with their impressive achievements - Patrick's set to appear in Broadway's Saint Joan later this month - and enjoying their New York City life. Also in the picture? Their adorable dog, Georgie.

Cute? Yeah, she knows. #puppylove #georgie
