Pamela just walked the Golden Globes red carpet makeup-free

Pamela Anderson is officially sticking to her no-makeup era, walking the Golden Globes red carpet last night with a glowing, clear complexion.

Making only her second ever appearance at the awards ceremony, Pamela was joined by her son, Brandon Thomas Lee, who she shares with her ex-husband and who many fans will recognise from The Hills: New Beginnings.

Wearing a full-length black gown (accessorised with black gloves and diamond jewellery), Pamela kept things simple in terms of beauty, opting for no makeup and a casually tousled hair.

Speaking to Variety's Marc Malkin on the Golden Globes red carpet, Pamela revealed she didn't work with a glam team or a stylist this year. "It's just me," she said.

The move comes after a string of makeup-free appearances from Pamela, prompted by the tragic passing of her long-time makeup artist, Alexis Vogel. Explaining the impact of the loss, the former Baywatch star said in a 2023 interview with Elle: "She was the best."

"Since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it's just better for me not to wear makeup," she continued, adding that the move has also given her some freedom of expression. "I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it's just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone's doing."

Pamela's barely-there look at last night's ceremony is a contrast to her 2006 appearance, in which she opted for her then-signature full glam hair and makeup. This time around, thanks to her role in The Last Showgirl, Pamela attended the ceremony with a nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in Motion Picture – Drama.
