Introducing Panerai’s New Collab With Mike Horn Panerai.

Panerai has launched a new watch in its long-running line of collaborations with the overachieving South African polar explorer, adventurer and motivational speaker Mike Horn, a partnership that dates back more than two decades.

The Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro Mike Horn Edition (ref: PAM01676) is a rugged steel 44mm dive watch designed to honour Horn and his commitment to adventure.

The watch features a striking blue dial and is made from brushed steel, with a steel bezel with a polished blue ceramic disk, designed to give higher resistance to scratches than a metal alternative.

There’s also a blue rubberised crown, and a steel screwed case back engraved with Horn’s signature.

The dial features large luminescent hour markers and hands for improved visibility in low light, its big indexes also designed for enhanced readability – handy for adventurers in tough environments.

Specifically, Panerai says “these indexes are wider by 20 per cent in diameter with an expanded Super-LumiNova surface area by 45 per cent, ensuring greater luminescence”.

The small seconds sub-dial has a yellow hand that stands out for easy reading.

It is water resistant to 300 meters, packs a three-day power reserve and is presented on a blue rubber strap.
