Paulina Porizkova isn't ready to be "dismissed."

On Thursday, the supermodel took to Instagram to share a video of her opening up about aging with her 855,000 followers.

The clip, which was a segment of an interview for the Summit on Reframing Aging, centred on the idea that women are "becoming invisible" as they age.

"My marriage was tanking, my husband did not see me. I was becoming a coffee table at home, roughly around the same time as I was becoming invisible to the rest of the world," Porizkova said. "Initially I thought, hold on a second, I’m cool, why does nobody want to hear from me anymore? It was purely self-based in the beginning."

Later in the interview, the mother-of-two explained that women started turning to her for support and advice on how to navigate the world as they aged.

"There were other women who felt like me and they came to me. We started building a community of women who felt likewise. I'm not ready to be dismissed, and I'm looking to you to lead me. And I thought, me lead anybody anywhere? I don’t know where I’m going!" the model joked.

At the end of the video, Porizkova said that as everyone ages, it's not fair to "end up no where" after a life filled with memories, family and love.

"...My road started becoming clearer and more focused. Now I can say yes, it’s for all of us, all of us who have raised children, had families, were nurturing and unselfish just the way a mother is supposed to me. To care of our homes, to care of our husbands, and then to end up no where," she concluded.

In the caption, the author promoted the summit and encouraged people to learn more about aging.

"This is an excerpt from the interview I did for Maria Shriver [for the Summit on Reframing Aging]. It’s seven days of conversations with scientists, celebrities, doctors and others, look it up!" she penned.

In the comments, fans thanked the blonde beauty for her motivational and honest message.

"Wonderful to hear your words and share this incredible journey with so many passionate women that hit that cross road in life...let’s create a better place for all women in the world!" shared a follower.

"Thank you for bringing women of our age group out of the closet so to speak. We are starting all over and it’s hard," commented someone else.

"Needed to hear this, you're so inspiring," wrote a fan.

"Brilliant! We are a strong community that needs to be heard!" added another.

Late last month, while promoting the upcoming release of her new book, No Filter: The Good, The Bad and the Beautiful, which comes out on Nov. 15, Porizkova opened up to Women's Wear Daily about beauty and aging.

In the interview, she revealed that although she hasn't used injections like Botox to help her look younger, she partakes in noninvasive options like face yoga and oxygen facials.

"I just want a little subtle help. I don’t want any drastic stuff. I don’t want to eliminate my age. I just want to look as good as I can given the limitations," she said.
