In an exciting opportunity for classic car enthusiasts and collectors, a concours-grade restored 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 is now on the auction block. This muscle car, one of approximately 850 produced for its model year, epitomizes the zenith of American muscle car design and performance during its era. Originally sold from Jerry Alderman Ford Sales in Indianapolis, Indiana, this Boss 429 stands out for its rarity, historical significance, and impeccable restoration.

The VIN traces back to Ford's Dearborn plant, where it was finished in the striking Wimbledon White paint over a black Clarion Knit vinyl interior, featuring high-back bucket seats. Under the hood lies the Z-code 429-4V Boss engine, a masterpiece engineered to dominate NASCAR racing. This powerhouse is paired with a 4-speed close-ratio manual gearbox and a Traction-Lok differential, showcasing the vehicle's racing pedigree.

This Mustang was not only a marvel in performance but also in aesthetics and comfort, optioned with power front disc brakes, power steering, and a host of other premium features including the Competition Suspension, Visibility group, and Interior Décor Group-Deluxe. Its VIN reveals a story of a car built for speed, style, and unparalleled driving experience.

Restored between 2017 and 2018 by Drew Alcazar, a specialist renowned for his attention to detail and craftsmanship, the car has been part of a large private collection ever since. The restoration process involved completely disassembling the vehicle, placing it on a rotisserie, and painstakingly returning it to its original glory, both inside and out.

The auction offers a unique chance to own a piece of automotive history. The car comes with comprehensive documentation confirming its numbers-matching drivetrain and original mileage, along with original owner’s manuals, window sticker, historical documentation, and even some of the original parts removed during restoration.

This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, now available for auction in Oklahoma, is not just a car; it's a testament to the golden age of muscle cars, a symbol of American engineering excellence, and a rare gem that continues to captivate the hearts of car enthusiasts worldwide.
