Amtrak Has A New 47-Hour Route That People Have A Lot Of Feelings About
There's a new Amtrak route!
Amtrak announced their "Floridian" route which connects Chicago to Miami.

How long is that going to take? Well, 47 hours one way of course!
When I did my own search on the Amtrak website, I found a fair for $113 one way.
A bunch of people were excited about the whole thing.
But then others are a little shook by that whole 47 hours thing.
For folks out there who have flown from Miami to Chicago and thought “I wish this took 10 times longer,” check it out: https://t.co/WdyEEs4eDx

"For the travelers who want to turn a 3 hour flight into a 3 day journey in a box," this person joked.

Someone pointed out that it would take 20 hours to drive that distance.
I can drive that distance in under half the time. pic.twitter.com/tnbXVhGCVi

Amtrak responded to that post, saying, "We hear you, Matthew, but this route gives us a chance to do the driving for you! Never mind the views are spectacular!"

Which, true, I'm sure the views are great!
Some people are taking it as a challenge.
Should I be absolutely insane and take this 46 hour train ride with 44 stops? https://t.co/gceevgWoAX pic.twitter.com/dszY2Jyud3
