This week’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, where Hillary Clinton made history by becoming the first female presidential nominee of a major party, has been chock-a-block with major political figures, such as first lady Michelle Obama and the man who might take her place in January, former President Bill Clinton.
As President Obama prepared to headline the convention Wednesday, the crowd was just as standout. Yahoo Style documented those gathered in the City of Brotherly Love — both the delegates and the protesters — and talking to them about why they came, what they wanted to say with their outfits, and how they’d feel about Clinton winning the election. Above, meet the people who gathered midweek at this historic event.
