I don't know about you, but I've been ready for White Lotus season 3 to come out since, well, as soon as season 2 was wrapped up. Thankfully that day (February 16, 2025) is finally here and we can finally all strap back in for another dramatic week at the White Lotus Resort. Admittedly, some of the guests might not make it out alive, but the food might as well be good, right? Whether you're celebrating the premiere with a party of one, or planning an all-out watch party from Hawaii and Sicily to Thailand, I've rounded up all the dramatically good food and drink recipes you'll need to have the best stay at the White Lotus.

Season one centered on ultra-spoiled guests in Hawaii, with plentiful luaus and pig roasts. But you don't need to fly all that way when your slow-cooker can make an impressive Hawaiian classic like kalua pork and cabbage or you can dust off the grill for some Hawaiian chicken skewers. No (overt) spoilers here, but paying attention to one of many pineapples will be very important when figuring out what happens in the finale, so be careful and have a pineapple colada or a jerk shrimp & pineapple bowl at the ready.

Next, it's time to travel to beautiful Sicily, where the Aperol spritzes are flowing and the macarons (not "macaroons" à la Tanya) go missing. Speaking of Tanya, treat yourself to an Oreo cookie cake, why don't you, as well as plenty of "(Peppa) pigs in a blanket". If you too have gone searching for your Italian ancestors only to be chased away by a nonna with an artichoke, be sure to nurse your wounds with a spinach-artichoke dip.

Alright, I must admit that my season 3 predictions are quite seriously just predictions. In truth, most guests at the White Lotus frustratingly don't go too far beyond the hotel breakfast buffet, namely loading up their plates with croissants and fruit salad. But I'd bet a few clams that they eventually off property to enjoy some Thai-American classics, like pad thai and Thai iced tea. Allegedly, this new season also focuses a lot on wellness and health, so I'd bargain that rainbow collard green wraps would be a super popular dish on the menu, while some guests are still alive to enjoy them.

Season 1: Pineapple Coladas

In our book, piña coladas are the ultimate summer cocktail when you need to be transported to a beach (and in a canoe), ASAP. This frozen cocktail is perfectly beach-y on its own, but once added to a cored pineapple, this drink turns into a party-worthy Tiki cocktail. Fair warning—you might need two hands to hold onto this pineapple drink!

Season 1: Hawaiian Chicken Skewers

Whether we’re looking for a creative BBQ main, an easy weeknight dinner or party side, grilled skewers are one of our go-to’s all season long. While we have plenty of favorite protein + veggie combinations, these Hawaiian chicken skewers just might be one of our favorites. With sweet pineapple, chicken, red bell peppers, and onion all basted in a sweet teriyaki-style sauce, these skewers are the ultimate summer dinner.

Season 1: Kālua Pig & Cabbage

Kālua pig and cabbage is Hawai'i's ultimate comfort food. “Kālua” refers to a Hawaiian method of cooking that uses an underground oven, but never fear—you don’t need to build a fire and pit to accomplish this low-maintenance version of the recipe. Kālua pig and cabbage works well for a weeknight dinner, with the slow cooker pulling the heavy weight. Using only a handful of ingredients, it’s simple enough for a beginner and cost-effective for a chef on a budget.

Season 1: Jerk Shrimp & Pineapple Bowls

Long live the pineapple bowl (just be sure to wield your knife carefully!) Not only is it a super-cute and fun way to serve dinner, but it also guarantees that whatever you’re about to eat is going to be loaded with plenty of fresh, delicious pineapple. In this case, we’ve got jerk marinated shrimp, sweet peppers, and a sweet and spicy glaze that will make you want to lick your plate clean.

Season 1: Piña Colada

When you have a creamy, cold, and refreshing piña colada in your hand, life truly becomes a beach. A classic summer drink, this tropical vibe in a glass is easy enough to order out at a bar, but when you want the perfect combination of sweetness, creaminess, and slush factor, making it at home is tops. After a double-digit number of attempts, we landed on the ideal blend of pineapple, coconut, rum, and effort that will help you reach piña colada paradise (and maybe a night in the pineapple suite).

Season 1: Coconut-Pineapple Spritz

Craving a tropical vacation, without the stress of a dealing with being given the wrong honeymoon suite? This summer cocktail is for you. No matter the time of year, one sip of this coconut and pineapple spritz will transform your mindset right to a tropical beach or beautiful sunny day, making this the perfect cocktail for any season. Warm up a winter day or slip further into the summer vibe—we'll sip on this all year long.

Season 2: Easy French Macarons

Did you eat all the "macaroons"? What "macaroons"? Chances. are, you might eat most of a full batch of these delicate French cookies (spelled with just one "o") that are somehow simultaneously crispy, chewy, soft, and light as air. This makes them the perfect blank canvas for creative flavors and colors. Make sure all your ingredients are room temperature to achieve the greatest success.

Season 2: Oreo Cookie Cake

There are desserts that spark pure joy, and this Oreo cookie cake is one of them, though unfortunately it is not often served at the White Lotus (as Tanya found out). This homemade version takes things to the next level by putting cookies in the cookie cake. It’s packed with chopped Oreos (in place of chocolate chips), decorated with a rich Oreo buttercream (in place of plain chocolate or vanilla), and crowned with even more Oreos. And it nails the ideal cookie cake texture: soft, tender, and chewy in the middle, with slightly crisp edges—thanks to melted butter, the ratio of brown sugar to white sugar, and an extra egg yolk.

Season 2: Spinach Artichoke Dip

When life beings you an Italian nonna that chases after you with an artichoke, make lemonade (AKA spinach-artichoke dip). While beer cheese, Buffalo chicken, and queso will always have special places in our hearts, we keep coming back to good ol' spinach & artichoke dip. Full of creamy, cheesy goodness, it really is the dip to end all dips.

Season 2: (Peppa) Pigs In A Blanket

Tanya, oh Tanya. We can't deny you don't look a little bit like Peppa Pig. So in her honor, it's only fitting to make some (Peppa) pigs in a blanket. While this party appetizer might seem straight forward, this recipe truly nails it. We added an extra ingredient to this last-minute app that may seem basic, but really takes this recipe over-the-top in our book. Whether you make them completely classic or with a creative twist, follow these top tips to ace this staple snack for all your get-togethers, from your holiday party to Sunday tailgates.

Season 2: Arancini, 3 Ways

Channel Sicilian street food vibes with plenty of arancini, all without dining and dashing. The Italian dish is prepared by forming cooled risotto into balls, filling them with some sort of filling (typically cheesy!), then breading and deep-frying them into golden, crispy perfection. We've got three different flavor options here, but our fave for spring is pesto provolone!

Season 2: Aperol Spritz

Season 2 of White Lotus had a non-human character that was everywhere: Aperol spritzes. If you're unfamiliar, Aperol is a bright red amaro made with flavorful, herbal ingredients that give it a distinct taste that might remind you of burnt orange and tart rhubarb. After hearing those flavor notes, it's probably immediately obvious why, when paired with Prosecco and a bit of soda water, it makes an amazing cocktail to drink for spring and summer.

Season 3: Thai Iced Tea

While most Americans consider Thai iced tea iconic and essential to Thai cuisine, in reality it’s only essential to American Thai food. Yes, it’s a common street food in Thailand, but its popularity there is largely due to its popularity with American tourists, much like the ones about to stay at the White Lotus. However it became popular, there’s no denying that Thai iced tea, or Cha Yen, is one of the most refreshing beverages to enjoy on a hot day. Made of Thai tea mix that has been steeped in boiling water with sugar, strained, and then poured over ice and topped with evaporated milk, Thai iced tea's sweet coldness is the perfect summer drink.

Season 3: Pad Thai

Can you even imagine the resort in season 3 of White Lotus (which takes place in Thailand) not serving Pad Thai? I can't. Even stateside, it's always a must-order, which is why it’s especially disappointing to get a lackluster one. Not to worry—those days are over. With just a few special ingredients, you can make this subtly sweet, tangy, nutty, and salty Thai dish, right at home, exactly how you like it.

Season 3: Caramelized Tofu Lettuce Cups

In keeping with the Thai-American theme I imagine will come into view on season 3, these sweet, sour, and salty lettuce cups are ripe for improvisation and can be served with all sorts of accompaniments. Crunchy raw vegetables like cucumbers, bell peppers, and carrots can add heft, and a drizzle of chili oil is a must for spice lovers.

Season 3: Rainbow Collard Green Wrap

As season 3 of White Lotus is focusing on themes of wellness, I can imagine these healthy wraps being a very popular item on the menu. Just about every color of the rainbow can be found in these simple collard green wraps. They’re a quick and easy no-cook lunch or a nutritious and satisfying snack any time of day. Colorful bunches of shredded purple cabbage, carrots, yellow bell peppers, sliced avocado, alfalfa sprouts, and crimson red sauerkraut are rolled into big collard green leaves like a burrito.

Season 3: Homemade Croissants

With all their wealth and worldliness, guests at the White Lotus mostly stay in the hotel, especially when it's breakfast time and there are plentiful croissants. While there's really no such thing as a quick croissant, but this recipe is about as fast as they come. The dough is basically a borrowed pie crust technique, cutting large chunks of cold butter into flour and skipping the intimidating traditional laminating process.

Season 3: Fruit Salad

Truth be told, White Lotus guests rarely eat beyond the hotel, but they do frequent a breakfast buffet, especially when there is a fruit salad as good as this one. You might be wondering—do you really need a recipe for fruit salad? In this case, we say yes. Our simple honey-citrus dressing takes the delicious fruit up a notch in this recipe, elevating this classic summer side to whole new heights. Fruit salads are endlessly versatile, but choose the wrong combination of fruits (or assemble it too early), and you've got a soggy, less-than-ideal side dish on your hands.
