What is the plot of The Perfect Couple?
As reported by Netflix, The Perfect Couple synopsis is as follows:
'Amelia Sacks is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season - Until a body turns up on the beach.'
'As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.'
The murder and investigation takes place over the Fourth of July weekend and includes several love stories in the plot line, giving the show an exciting edge.
Who has been cast in The Perfect Couple?
The Perfect Couple is the latest series to have an all-star cast. Nicole Kidman stars as Greer Garrison Winbury, a famous novelist and Tag's wife (played by Liev Schreiber). Billy Howle stars as Benji, their son and groom, while Eve Hewson plays Amelia, who is about to marry into the Winbury family.
When Kidman joined the cast, she told the show's director Susanne Bier, 'Whatever you want me to do, I’ll be there,' and couldn't help but be drawn to Greer's mysterious and formidable nature, 'She’s a mother bear,' Kidman commented.
The White Lotus' Megann Fahy plays Amelia's best friend and Dakota Fanning stars as Abby Winbury, the wife of Thomas Winbury (Jack Reynor), who is Benji's older brother.
