In the small village of Nyariga, Ghana, women who have perfected the art of basket-weaving are collaborating on a project that's a little different. They are still working with their usual materials, but for this undertaking, they won't be finishing a single product. Instead, the weavers send their herb-dyed and woven creations north to Paris, where an atelier adds fabrics, embellishments, and straps or handles to produce handbags that are truly inimitable.
