Photoshop Fail In New Pic Of Kate Middleton Stokes Conspiracy Theories
The royal family dropped a new photo of Kate Middleton and her three kids to celebrate Mother's Day (March 10 in the United Kingdom).
It took mere seconds for everyone to notice a pretty glaring photoshop fail on Princess Charlotte's sleeve.
Just FYI, Kate and William aren't new to claims of photoshop.
The royal family dropped a new photo of Kate Middleton and her three kids to celebrate Mother's Day (March 10 in the United Kingdom), and you'd think it'd have the effect of quieting ongoing conspiracy theories about the Princess of Wales' whereabouts. But not so much.
Despite the fact that the photo was taken by Prince William, fans read all the way into Kate's missing ring. On top of that, as the Daily Mail reports, it took mere seconds for everyone to notice a pretty glaring photoshop fail on Princess Charlotte's sleeve.
Me wondering;
- when this was taken?
- why a (bad) photoshop job was need on Charlotte’s left cuff/wrist?
- what’s Louis doing with his fingers?
- why Kate’s not wearing a wedding ring? https://t.co/mpOKaeMecu pic.twitter.com/mSnqXnwEsT— Patrick G (@PatrickGDE3) March 10, 2024
Not going to lie, this photoshop job is so bad that it's got me invested in this Kate Middleton scandal. https://t.co/IpKivI8U92

Just FYI, Kate and William aren't new to claims of photoshop. Everyone was convinced that things were awry in their Christmas portrait from last year—and while they didn't put out a statement, a source told Us Weekly they were both "embarrassed" that everyone thought it was edited, and that they "were as shocked as everyone else" by the public's reaction.
As for Kate's missing wedding / engagement ring in that Mother's Day Instagram, according to Town & Country's reporting, Kensington Palace did not comment. But the outlet points out that the Princess "was at home when the picture was taken by her husband."

Oh, and before we go: reminder that Kate's rep spoke out about conspiracy theories regarding her whereabouts at the end of March, telling Page Six that "Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’ recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands."
