Pink is putting her foot down when it comes to giving her daughter a cellphone.

The 42-year-old revealed during a recent interview with Carson Daly that she wary of introducing her children, 10-year-old daughter Willow and 5-year-old son Jameson, to certain technology.

“There’s a light side and a shadow side to technology in general for adults, as well,” she said. “For kids, I’m not there yet. I have a 10-year-old who does not have a phone, although she pointed out to me yesterday, ‘You know most of the kids in my class, fifth grade, have a phone.’ That doesn’t move my needle. I don’t care.”

Pink admitted, however, that she does plan to eventually come around to the idea.

“We can’t be dinosaurs ourselves as parents, we have to sort of embrace it and go with it," she said.

The mom-of-two said that she uses her phone to play recorded bedtime stories for her kids, and said that she believes technology can be useful— in moderation.

“If you want to listen to a story at night that fires your imagination gets you in your body and helps you drift off to sleep while not being afraid of the dark, [while] not feeling alone, great,” she said.

Pink isn't the only celebrity mom to voice concerns about their children's use of technology.

Back in 2015, Jennifer Lopez revealed to E! that she doesn't allow her kids to use their iPads during the week, “or play video games or anything" in case it interferes with school.

"The have to be good in school and then they get Sunday Funday," Lopez said. "It’s something I made up so they could work towards it and behave!”

In 2018, Kim Kardashian said she has rules when it comes to letting her kids use cellphones— one she tries to follow herself by not using phone during meals.

"I want my kids to see the separation and feel the difference, and know that there's a time and place for that. I'm really cautious when I'm at home, with phones, and I'm super present," Kardashian said. last year.
