Pippa Middleton Steps Out in a Striking Floor-Length Gown in London
Wednesday night, Pippa Middleton attended the Beating Hearts Ball, which benefits the British Heart Foundation.
For her first public event following the birth of her son, Middleton wore a patterned gown by Alice Temperley.
For the past few months, Pippa Middleton has kept a relatively low profile, but last night she made an appearance at the Beating Hearts Ball in London. The Duchess of Cambridge's sister wore a colorful floor-length dress by Alice Temperley, which featured a striking patten and a bow detail. Small stud earrings, a headband, and a bright red clutch completed her look for the fundraiser, which benefitted the British Heart Foundation. Per the Today show, Pippa served as an honorary gala chair and is a British Heart Foundation ambassador.

The party marked her first public event since the birth of her son, Arthur Michael William Matthews, last October. At the time, a spokesperson for Middleton reported that "Everyone is delighted and mother and baby are doing well."
This week has clearly been a busy one for the Middleton family. Pippa's sister Kate is currently on a whirlwind royal tour of Northern Ireland this week with her husband, Prince William.
The two-day trip is focused on celebrating young people and their achievements, but undoubtedly this visit was also meant to help calm anxieties about Brexit in the region.
In a subtle nod to the ongoing conflict regarding a Brexit plan, Prince William urged people to "come together in times of trouble and work for the common good," in his speech yesterday.
