Pippa Middleton's twinning moment with sister Kate

They’re one year apart in age, but Kate Middleton and Pippa Middleton could almost pass for twins. In fact, they look so similar that the pair recently had a twinning moment.

Two weeks after giving birth to her first child, Pippa was spotted out and about in a burgundy polka dot shirtdress from British fashion label Whistles.

The long-sleeve dress, with a button-up design and an ankle-grazing hem, is the same one her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore while hosting a reception at Kensington Palace earlier this month.

Could the “Kate Middleton effect” apply to her own sister? Or perhaps it’s a classic case of sisters digging through each other’s wardrobes. However, with a new baby son, we doubt Pippa, would’ve had the time.

In keeping with the twinning theme, Meghan Markle was seen in Queensland, Australia, last week wearing, you guessed it, a burgundy polka dot dress, but this one was short-sleeved and from fashion retailer & Other Stories.

On their first night in New Zealand, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who announced on Oct. 15 that they’re expecting their first child, attended an evening reception at the Government House in Wellington.

During the event, Meghan gave an empowering speech celebrating the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand.

Meghan delivered her speech, which praised New Zealand for being the first country in the world to give women the right to vote, in a custom-made dress by Gabriela Hearst — a designer known for incorporating feminist beliefs into her work.

“We are proud to be able to join you tonight in celebrating the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in your country,” she said.

“The achievements of the women of New Zealand who campaigned for their right to vote, and were the first in the world to achieve it, are universally admired. In looking forward to this very special occasion, I reflected on the importance of this achievement, but also the larger impact of what this symbolizes.”

In addition to being perfectly on point when it came to marrying her message with her outfit, Meghan was also giving us some serious Kate Middleton vibes with her very royal look.

Two years ago at a charity event in London, the Duchess of Cambridge stunned in a Preen by Thornton Bregazzi dress that had a similar silhouette.

The classic midi-length gown featured an empire waistline, straight neckline, and full skirt just like Meghan’s, and she also paired it with black heels.
