Pizza Hut’s New Meal Deal Is Honestly Such a Steal
It’s a pizza party in a box.
Pizza Hut
Whether you’re a professional mathematician or barely remember your times tables, you probably know that March 14 is Pi Day. Are we tired of food holidays? Yes. Does that mean we won’t take any excuse to make and eat all kinds of pie? Of course not. Perhaps our favorite pie of all swaps the fruity filling and whipped cream topping for pepperoni and a different kind of fruit—tomato. We’re talking about pizza pies.
In honor of the (pizza) pie-centric holiday, Pizza Hut is introducing a new menu item that's got you covered for Pi Day, or any other day you need a quick, comforting dinner between now and the end of month.
Pizza Hut Introduces New Pizza Charcuterie
Pizza Hut’s newest menu item, Pizza Charcuterie, is customizable, includes a crowd-pleasing amount of food, and comes with a price tag that won’t make your eyes bug out of your head. That’s because Pizza Charcuterie is really just a cute name for a meal deal bundle that’ll feed a whole party.
The Pizza Charcuterie bundle starts at $24.99, depending on where you live (a quick peek at my closest Pizza Hut listed the price at $26.99). And while that may seem a bit steep compared to meal deals at chains like Taco Bell and Applebee’s, a closer look reveals it's actually quite the steal.
Take a look at all you get in Pizza Hut’s new Pizza Charcuterie:
Two medium pizzas: Any two medium pizzas on your choice of crust: Chicago, Tavern-Style, Original Pan Pizza, Hand Tossed, or Thin ‘N Crispy (stuffed crust is excluded from this deal). Then add up to 10 toppings from over 20 choices, one of 5 optional sauces, and the amount of cheese you want (extra cheese is a surcharge).
Eight boneless wings: With your choice of sauce: honey BBQ, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper dry rub, Buffalo (mild, medium, or burnin’ hot), Cajun-style dry rub, spicy garlic, or sweet chili.
Any sticks and dip: Choose from a variety of sticks such as breadsticks, garlic sticks, or roasted garlic cheese sticks, and add one of 9 dipping sauces such as blue cheese, marinara, or garlic.
If this all sounds familiar that’s probably because it’s the same deal as the Ultimate Hut Bundle announced in February (which was set to run until the end of March). But hey, there’s nothing wrong with a little rebranding in the name of Pi Day. Just call it deal-jà vu.
Pizza Hut’s Pizza Charcuterie is available for pick-up or delivery now through the end of March, so you’ve got plenty of time to take advantage of this can’t-miss deal.
Now, the hardest part is just deciding which two pizzas to order. In our taste test of four popular chain pepperoni pizzas, Pizza Hut’s came out on top, besting Domino’s, Little Caesars, and Papa Johns, so keep that in mind when ordering. Sometimes the classics can’t be beat—especially when they cost half their usual price.
