The experience
Prior to receiving our custom Pluto pillow, a representative from the company reached out to see if we'd like to try a brand new material that Pluto is using for its quilted surfaces, since it lends a "more hotel plush feel.'
We could not have been more happy with the result - Pluto nailed our version of the perfect pillow.
With a solid foam core, the pillow's density and thickness reflected what we indicated in our questionnaire. These features offer plenty of support for my fiancé's neck, and there's no sinking down to our mattress.
Plus, the amount of cushion on either side of his head helps him feel like his neck is being braced, without being restricted.
The quality of the pillow can be felt through the pillow case as well - Pluto does not cheap out on the specifics, like the optional cooling fibres for hot sleepers.
In our opinion, the cooler it is at night, the better (mostly because we like the feeling of being cuddled up in blankets and pillows).
