Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis Have "Very Different Temperaments"

Kate Middleton is offering new insight into her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

On Mike Tindall's podcast, "The Good, The Bad & The Rugby," Mike asked Kate and Prince William if their competitiveness passed down to their children. Before they could reply, Princess Anne jumped in to reply, "just a little bit, I would suggest."

Kate, then, went on to explain, "What I think is really interesting is that they are all obviously very different temperaments. And as they are growing and trying out different sports, they're obviously still really young, it's going to be interesting to see how that grows and develops."

Later in the episode, Kate added that Charlotte plays rugby and football at school, which weren't school sports when she was growing up. "Charlotte's playing both the sports now, and it's really good to see youngsters, particularly girls, playing these types of sports now," Kate said.

In June, during a visit to the Maidenhead Rugby Club, Kate revealed that she regularly plays rugby with her kids. According to Rugby Football Union president Nigel Gillingham, "Apparently Charlotte is very much in [Kate's] mould, very competitive as well apparently."

Kate, who regularly proves she's the sportiest royal, explained on the podcast that her parents Carole and Michael Middleton "encouraged us to be physically active and sporty and they always encouraged us into doing team sports and trying things." Kate herself played field hockey in school, and now says she loves swimming.
