Since officially stepping down from their duties in the royal family at the end of March, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have kept a pretty low profile despite all the changes in their lives.

Although they made the move from Vancouver Island to L.A. weeks ago, the royal couple had yet to be seen out and about - until recently.

In exclusive images obtained by The Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted on the streets of Los Angeles this week, delivering meals to those in need.

Working with the non-profit organization Project Angel Food, the couple has been spending time this week delivering food, while following California’s strict guidelines on public health. Both were seen covering their faces and hands, with Harry sporting a blue fabric bandana and Meghan in what appeared to be a white medical mask.

Executive director of Project Angel Food Richard Ayoub told ET Online that Meghan and Harry contacted the charity after learning its drivers are 'overloaded' and required more support as they try to feed those most in need during lockdown.

“They told us they heard our drivers were overloaded and wanted to volunteer to lighten the drivers' workload,” Ayoub said.

Dressed casually in jeans, the duo dropped off care packages to 14 households in the L.A. area on Wednesday - an increase from the first six that they delivered while volunteering on Easter Sunday.

Meghan looked effortless as she accessorized her skinny black jeans and white button-up blouse with a Project Angel Food baseball cap and a pair of her go-to Adidas sneakers. A collaboration between British designer Stella McCartney and Adidas, the tennis shoes retail starting at $310.

Crafted from vegan faux leather, the sneakers are an update on the classic Stan Smith style and feature star perforations on the sides, rainbow details, and portraits of both Stella McCartney and Stan Smith the tongue.

Meghan has been seen wearing other styles from the brand in the past, including their classic Stan Smith sneakers.

While it’s still early on in the Sussexes post-royal life, if their recent increase in volunteer work is any indication, we can expect to see a lot more from Meghan and Harry (both in person and online) in the weeks to come.
