The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released their annual Christmas card, and this year, it's a family affair. As well as featuring photos from the couple’s numerous engagements and charity endeavours, this year's festive offering also features the pair's children.

The pair’s children, five-year-old Archie, and Lilibet, three, make a rare appearance in the card, with one photo showing the two children running toward their parents at what appears to be their Montecito, California, home.

Lily, who has inherited her father's red hair, wears a white and green floral sundress, white tights, and little black shoes. Archie, meanwhile, can be seen in a beige jumper, blue jeans, and black trainers.

In the happy photo, both parents cut a casual, relaxed figure; Meghan wears a cosy cream jumper, while Harry wears a forest-green shirt, blue jeans, and trainers. The family’s three dogs also make cameos in the image.

Other photos included in the card are charming shots from Meghan and Harry’s recent trip to Colombia, which was covered exclusively by Harper’s Bazaar. There are romantic photos of Meghan and Harry together during the trip, as well as an image of Meghan embracing a little girl at a school, and of Harry speaking with a patient at a hospital.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” the festive card reads.

The couple's festive offering comes after Harry told crowds that he has no plans to ever return to the UK.

In a candid discussion at the New York Times Dealbook Summit, Harry explained that he was doubtful he would ever move back to the UK on a permanent basis. When asked by Andrew Sorkin on whether he planned to remain stateside for good, the Prince replied: “I do. I very much enjoy living here and bringing my kids up here.”

He continued to explain that he enjoys significantly more privacy and freedom over in America, which simply would not be an option in the UK, where he has concerns about security. The duke added it felt as though “it’s the life [his] mum wanted” for him.
