Prince Harry Has "No Plans" to See Prince William While He's in the U.K. Visiting King Charles
Prince Harry is currently in the United Kingdom visiting his father King Charles, arriving just one day after His Majesty's cancer diagnosis was made public.
Harry traveled alone on this trip, but a source tells People that “Hopefully [Harry] will bring the grandchildren at some point too, as that would be lovely for all of them." Meanwhile, another insider adds that while Harry's spending time with his dad, there are "no plans" for him to see his estranged brother Prince William.
The brothers have been at odds for years, but things seem to have taken a turn for the worse following Harry and Meghan's Netflix docu-series, as well as Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare. Apparently William was especially upset about the below quote from Harry, and interpreted it as a slight against himself and Kate Middleton:
“For so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mold, as opposed to somebody who you are perhaps destined to be with. The difference between making decisions with your head or your heart. My mom certainly made most of her decisions if not all of them from her heart, and I am my mother's son."
Royal author Robert Hardman spoke to someone close to William who said "On top of all the other breaches of trust, here was Harry making a blatant attack on Catherine. For William, this was the lowest of the low."
It's unclear how long Harry will be in the U.K. for, but here's to hoping the royals work on mending fences as King Charles focuses on his health.
