Prince William and Kate are going glam for their next joint engagement

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge like to keep busy! They’ve had a productive autumn season so far, with Duchess Kate returning from maternity leave and jumping right back into a busy schedule of royal duties. And for their next joint engagement on Nov. 8, they’ll be wearing their hearts on their glamorous sleeves, showing love to a cause close to their hearts. Kensington Palace revealed on Twitter that they’ll be heading to the Tusk Conservation Awards in support of Tusk, a wildlife conservation organization: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend the @tusk_org Conservation Awards on Thursday 8 ^th November #TuskAwards”.

The father of three has been a long-time supporter of the cause, since he first became a royal patron in 2005. The prince has spent much of his time being a powerful advocate for the organization’s work to support conservation, education and community development across Africa, their website states. Tusk perfectly combines William’s passions for conservation, empowering others to help and increasing awareness. The duke has always been a major supporter of this particular charity – he attended the awards ceremony back in 2016 and 2015. Five years ago, his beautiful wife joined him, where she dazzled in a sparkly sequined gown for the red-carpet occasion, so she’s sure to turn out in another gorgeous gown for the occasion.

Earlier this month, William, 36, jetted off solo to visit Namibia, Tanzania and Kenya to help end cruelty against the continent’s beautiful wildlife with the campaign #EndWildlifeCrime. Throughout his week-long trip, the royal joined a group in a rhino search, met with members of Save the Rhino Trust Namibia and learned all about the local efforts to protect the animals. “I was staggered by the beauty and sheer remoteness of this incredible landscape," he said while in the Kunene region of Namibia. "And I was humbled by the dedication of the rangers who protect the unique population of desert rhino from poachers.” William will surely be happy to have his wife, Kate, by his side for this occasion, as she couldn’t join him in Africa.

The couple attended a fun joint engagement on Tuesday (Oct. 30) for another cause close to their hearts – the wellbeing of children. The Cambridges visited Essex to learn more about the work of their Royal Foundation organization Coach Core, which helps unemployed young people to find opportunity in sports coaching. Prince William led a group of children in throwing foam arrows while tennis enthusiast Kate hit the court with other cute kids before they joined up for a giggly game of Boccia.
