Princess Anne Wore a Bright Red Jacket (With a Matching Scarf!) on Christmas Day
It's Christmas Day and the royal family is out spreading their own brand of holiday cheer. Among their many Christmas traditions, one of the most long-standing is the family's annual walk to the Church of St Mary Magdalene near their Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where the royals typically spend their holiday.
As usual, Princess Anne, the only sister of King Charles, joined in today alongside her husband Sir Timothy Laurence. Anne made the walk wearing a bright red coat, and matching scarf.
Anne, long known to rewear her clothes, previously donned the red jacket at the 2023 Braemar Gathering:
Last year, Anne and Timothy were two of the royals who made the walk to church wearing matching The Highgrove Heritage scarves, which were reportedly a gift from her big brother, the king. Earlier this year, Anne once again showed off the scarf, which was a collaboration between King Charles's Highgrove House and the King's Foundation, cementing her status as the queen of royal rewears.
The second eldest of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's four children, as well as the only girl, Anne (who carries the title Princess Royal) Anne carries out a packed calendar of royal events every year, most recently appearing in a prominent role at the state banquet celebrating the visit of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Earlier this year, the princess, who is an avid equestrian and even competed in the event in the 1976 Olympics, was hospitalized for several days with injuries from an incident involving a horse on her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, however she has since resumed full duties and is apparently doing well.
