Princess Beatrice’s Husband Shares Sweet New Photo of Daughter Sienna
Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, offered a rare glimpse into the couple’s family life today, by sharing a sweet photo of their daughter, Sienna.
On Instagram, the luxury property developer shared an image of the two-year-old looking adorable in a frilly long-sleeved red floral dress and a giant raffia hat with red tailing. In the photo, Sienna is walking barefoot in a garden. Her face is not visible, as she is heading away from the camera.
“Happy Birthday Baby Girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day. 💕💕💕,” Mozzi wrote in the caption.
Beatrice and Mozzi, whom the princess calls “Edo,” welcomed Sienna on September 18, 2021. “We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi,” they said in a joint statement shared on social media at the time, alongside a photo of the baby girl’s footprints on a paper.
Sienna is Beatrice’s first (and only) child. Mozzi is also dad to six-year-old son Christopher Woolf (known as “Wolfie”), from a previous relationship.
“We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna,” the pair said upon their daughter’s birth.
Beatrice and Mozzi were family friends for years before their relationship turned romantic in 2018. (Mozzi’s late stepfather, Christopher Shale, was close with Beatrice’s parents, Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah.)
The couple went public with their relationship at the National Portrait Gallery’s annual gala in March 2019, and became engaged that September. They wed in a private ceremony in Windsor on July 17, 2020.
