Princess Charlene Just Made Her First Appearance of 2024

The Monaco royals had a family outing this weekend!

Princess Charlene, Prince Albert, and their twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques attended the Circus Parade. It was Princess Charlene's first royal engagement of 2024, and the first public outing of Gabriella and Jacques since Monaco National Day back in November.

At the parade, the princely family met elephants. According to the Monaco Tribune, "To launch the 46th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, the artists paraded through the streets of the Principality to the Prince’s Palace. There, they performed an hour-long show in front of a large crowd. With music, acrobatics, and animals, it was an impressive show for all ages."

For the event, Princess Charlene looked chic in a camel-colored coat, a black turtleneck, and black knee-high boots. Charlene and Albert and their children were joined by other royals—including Albert's sister, Princess Stéphanie. Stéphanie is the president of the annual circus festival, and attended with two of her children, Louis Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb.

It was a bit of a tumultuous end to 2023 for Charlene and Albert. In August, she deleted her Instagram amidst rumors they had separated. While the couple did not explicitly comment on the rumors, they soon made a string of public appearances together to show their united front. Their last public appearance together was at a Christmas celebration at the Monaco Palace on December 20.
