Princess Charlotte Is Adorable in a Plaid Coat and Hair Bow for the Royal Family Christmas Service

Princess Charlotte’s Christmas Day began at church with the royal family in Sandringham. She made an appearance with her mother, father, and brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, and the nine-year-old looked stylish in a navy-and-emerald plaid coat and green velvet hair bow, which matched her mom Kate Middleton’s look. Kate had on a tartan scarf with the exact colors of her daughter’s outfit.

Charlotte has made appearances at royal events here and there with her siblings, although their parents have tried to give them a childhood away from the spotlight. An aide told People in 2019 that Kate and her husband, Prince William, “know what’s coming [as they near the throne] and want to give their kids as normal a start as possible.”

The public hasn’t heard many details about Charlotte’s personality, but in April 2022, a source told Us Weekly a little about the royal middle child. “Charlotte is sharp and bright as a button,” the source said. “She is top of her class at reading. She actually enjoys doing homework.”

Additionally, the princess “loves acrobats and is very into the arts and acting,” the source said. “Whenever she gets a chance, she’ll put on a performance!”

She and George are “aware of their privileges, [and their parents] taught them to be graceful,” the source revealed. “They don’t boast about their positions or have superiority complexes. [They] treat their peers with kindness and as equals.”

She isn’t on social media at all, nor are her brothers. “Kate and William will not allow them have accounts, even secrets ones,” the insider said. “They 100 percent disagree with young children having social media accounts.”
