Princess Eugenie and Prince Andrew Wish Jack Brooksbank a Happy Birthday

Jack Brooksbank turns 33 years old today-and Princess Eugenie and her family are eager to celebrate.

The princess posted a candid selfie of the two of them to commemorate the occasion. "Happy Birthday to you, my one and only Jack," she wrote in the caption. "You are one of a kind and totally extraordinary. Nine birthdays and counting...to quote you from a few months ago 'you light up my life.'"

This is the first time the couple is celebrating Jack's birthday as a married couple, after their royal wedding this past fall. It was at their reception that Jack spoke the words Eugenie quoted in her post.

"Seventy five percent of his speech was to profess his love for Eugenie," Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner, Jack's former headmaster, told the Telegraph at the time. "He said his life lights up when she comes into the room. 'She lights me up,' he said. She makes him whole. His love for her was obvious."

For his part, Prince Andrew posted a simple message today. "Wishing Jack Brooksbank a very Happy Birthday!⁣" the post read, accompanied by a sweet photo of Jack and Eugenie from their wedding.

Don't let the unemotional comment fool you-it seems that Prince Andrew is quite taken with Jack. In the Telegraph, Dr. Wallersteiner described how happy Andrew was, noting that he delivered "A classic father-in-law speech full of so much love."

Another source noted that Andrew and Sarah Ferguson also seemed taken during others' remarks, saying, "Both Fergie and Prince Andrew got emotional during the speeches."
