Princess Eugenie shares rare photo of toddler August – and he's so cute
It's a busy week for royal birthdays, with Princess Charlotte having just celebrated her eighth birthday and Prince Archie's fourth birthday coming up on Saturday 6 May (yep, that's the same day as King Charles III's coronation). And that's not all, as Princess Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank celebrated his birthday yesterday, too.
To mark the special occasion, Eugenie took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday message – and an adorable photo of the couple's son, August. "Happy Birthday to you my love. Here's to another 100 birthdays together," she wrote in the caption, alongside a series of loved-up photos of the couple.
The fourth photo in the carousel showed two-year-old August sitting on top of Eugenie's shoulders as she walks arm in arm with Jack. So wholesome!
In the comments section, there was plenty of praise for the family. "These pics are sweet," wrote one royal fan, as someone else described them as a "gorgeous couple" and another a "beautiful family".
And that beautiful family is about to get bigger, as Eugenie and Jack announced earlier this year that they are expecting their second child together. "We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer," the couple wrote on Instagram, along with a sweet photo that showed little August hugging and kissing Eugenie's baby bump.
Buckingham Palace also shared an announcement, with a statement reading: "The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother."
We can't wait for the new arrival to make their appearance!
