Princess Kate, 26, was a daring wedding guest in low-cut dress and corset jacket
The Princess of Wales has dazzled in everything from an Elie Saab blush gown to a cornflower blue Catherine Walker coat to royal weddings in the past, but none have been as rebellious as the outfits she wore before marrying into the royal family.
Aged 26, Kate (née Middleton) caused a stir when she was pictured at Lady Rose Windsor and George Gilman's wedding at the Queen's Chapel, St James' Palace in July 2008 without her then-boyfriend Prince William. He was practising disaster relief in the Caribbean, so the now-Princess went solo with a few friends.
She looked beautiful in a knee-length colourful dress with a low V-neck and a floaty skirt covered with a white, black and blue boho print. With a white corset-close jacket layered over the top, Kate emphasised her waist and accessorised with black heels and a matching feathered fascinator.
The latter was secured into her curled brunette hair, which she had styled into a side part with the front section pulled away from her face. Kate's trademark black eyeliner and long lashes made up her pre-royal beauty look, while she now favours more natural soft brown eye makeup.
She had previously made two wedding appearances with William in June 2005 and May 2006 respectively. For the former, Kate celebrated Will's friend Hugh Van Cutsem Jr.'s big day with Rose Astor in a cream blazer and Karen Millen skirt.

The following year, for his step-sister Laura Parker-Bowles and Harry Lopes' wedding, Kate looked beautiful in a DAY Birger et Mikkelsen brocade coat.
Kate's appearance at the 2008 wedding took place shortly after they rekindled their romance following their brief split in 2007. "We were both very young," William said during his engagement interview with Kate in 2010. "We were both finding ourselves and such and being different characters. It was very much trying to find our own way and we were growing up."
Kate added: "At the time wasn't very happy about it, but actually it made me a stronger person.
"You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn't realised, or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you are younger and I really valued that time for me as well although I didn't think it at the time. Looking back on it."
The Prince and Princess of Wales got married in April 2011 at Westminster Abbey and are now proud parents to children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
