Queen Camilla and King Charles III Favor Coordinated Looks in Shades of Blue for Royal Event in London

King Charles III and Queen Camilla made a joint appearance at Waltham Forest Town Hall ahead of the holidays on Friday in London. The event supported children staying in hotels as asylum seekers. For the occasion, the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom and the queen consort opted for coordinated outfits. Both King Charles and Queen Camilla wore ensembles in shades of blue.

Queen Camilla wore an indigo dress with fringe detailing at the collar and on the bodice of the look. The queen consort paired the dress with black gloves.

As for his attire, King Charles also wore a shade of blue, favoring an indigo suit with subtle checkered patterning. He paired the suit with a small pocket square and a patterned tie in a shade of taupe, set against his white button-down shirt.

Over the course of the last few weeks, members of the British royal family got into the holiday spirit with various events and engagements in London. Prior to this joint appearance with her husband, Queen Camilla welcomed children and families supported by Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity to Clarence House in London on Dec. 13 to decorate Christmas trees and visit with Santa Claus.

But King Charles and Queen Camilla are not the only members of the British royal family ushering in the holiday season in style.

On Dec. 6, Kate Middleton hosted the fourth annual “Together at Christmas” Carol Service at Westminster Abbey. The event marked the Princess of Wales’ most recent public engagement since completing her chemotherapy treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

Kate turned to one of her go-to designers for the event. She wore a red, double-breasted coat courtesy of Alexander McQueen, featuring black buttons on the cuffs and front placket of the garment, along with a large black bow at the collar.
