Queen Camilla Rewears One of Her Favorite Green Dresses for Buckingham Palace Reception Alongside King Charles III
Queen Camilla joined her husband King Charles III on Tuesday for a special reception at Buckingham Palace in London. The queen consort spoke with members of the military during the reception, hosting the event as a way to thank them for their service.
For the occasion, Queen Camilla styled an emerald green midi dress with contrasting fabric elements on the cuffs and bodice. The green dress featured long sleeves and sharp shoulders with a flowing skirt and a slightly cinched waist for added definition to her silhouette. She has worn the same dress several times before, including for the Easter Mattins service in March 2024, the Ascot Racecourse in October 2023 and a kindergarten visit in November 2022.

The cuffs, neckline and shoulders of the frock featured shiny satin fabric against the softer, more muted fabric of the rest of the dress. Queen Camilla paired the dress with black boots and added a few small accessories to complete her attire for the occasion.
Among her jewelry pieces, the queen consort wore her signature bracelets courtesy of Van Cleef & Arpels, pearl and diamond earrings, a necklace and a special brooch from her own personal collection of jewelry.
Brooches are often a key element to Queen Camilla’s wardrobe when it comes to public royal engagements and significant occasions. In the recent past, Queen Camilla has worn brooches to match the occasion of a royal visit — as she did by wearing a ballerina brooch by Van Cleef & Arepls in September 2024 during a visit with the English National Ballet.
She’s also worn pieces of Queen Elizabeth II’s jewelry collection as a means to pay homage to the long-reigning monarch, who died in September 2022. Among the pieces from Queen Elizabeth II, the queen consort inherited the Cartier sapphire and diamond flower brooches, sapphire tiara and more.
More recently, Queen Camilla wore a bumblebee brooch on Feb. 6 during her visit to a new Sexual Assault Referral Centre during Sexual Violence Awareness Week.
