Spain's Queen Letizia is one of the most stylish royal women today, and her outfit yesterday was no exception.

For the day of engagements in Cuenca, Spain, the queen opted for a burgundy suit from French fashion label Sézane—a brand beloved by Kate Middleton. The burgundy was a subtle nod to the upcoming holidays, without being too over-the-top festive. She accessorized with delicate pearl drop earrings, and wore a wool overcoat at times throughout the day.

The visit to Cuenca comes just days after the Spanish royals released their annual Christmas card. The photograph shows the family of four–King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and their daughters Princess Leonor, 19, and Infanta Sofia, 17.

The text inside the card reads, "Merry Christmas, and may we all face the New Year with greater confidence," and is signed by all of the royals. The picture was taken back in June, during an event commemorating the tenth anniversary of King Felipe's accession to the Spanish throne. The card also contains a snippet of a poem by Valencian poet Francisco Brines, which translates to "And I seek a face that reflects light, / someone who, like me, though only holding death, / also holds, as I once did, / defying it, life." The inclusion of the poem is a tribute to those affected by the deadly floods in Valencia.
