Rachel Chinouriri's bra-flashing boob cut-out top is giving Regina George from Mean Girls
Consider this a public service announcement: we've collectively been sleeping on Rachel Chinouriri's style. As well as tearing up the red carpet at the 2025 Brit Awards in a totally see-through barley-there asymmetric ruffle turquoise dress, the 26-year-old English singer-songwriter is currently supporting Sabrina Carpenter on tour and her stage 'fits have been next level. Think butterfly crop tops, zebra print mini skirts, sequin hotpants, feather-cuff basque tops and plenty of bubble hems.
All in all, her ensembles are a Y2K dream. So, is it any wonder her latest look seemingly takes inspiration from the ultimate noughties icon, Regina George, AKA Rachel McAdam's character in the 2004 film Mean Girls? Of course, the chick flick of all chick flicks was remade in 2024 as a musical movie, but we're referring to the OG in this context. Specifically, the scene where Janice cuts holes in Regina's tank top at each boob but the queen bee effortlessly rocks it as a new trend, inspiring the entire school to cut holes in their tops in the process.
Well, add Rachel to that list – she's #influenced – as she took to the stage in a top with boob cut-outs! Scroll through her Instagram carousel to see:
Rachel's neon green cropped design took it to the next level with multiple cut-outs all over the chest that clearly showed off her leopard print bra in the process, plus a criss-cross cut-out pattern down the sleeves. She styled it with a blue pleated mini skirt and super cute butterfly hair clips.
The artist included additional pics of another of her other stage outfits. She stuck to a similar theme, wearing a cropped tee that laced entirely up the front, another mini – this time a butter yellow hue – blue lace tights and leg warmers. Her followers were loving the post, with one person writing in the comments section, “Slaying every day 🥹.”
