Serge Ibaka and OG Anunoby found themselves in a playful rivalry after the Toronto Raptors players took part in this week’s episode of UNINTERRUPTED.
The 11-minute video shows the fellow teammates browsing through clothes at Holt Renfrew, and 22-year-old Anunoby suggesting he is the influence behind 30-year-old Ibaka’s signature style.
“I put you on how to dress,” said Anunoby. “You know I did. I put you on Valentino, I put you on denim jackets, Balenciaga ones.”
Ibaka rejected every suggestion until Anunoby confronted him about one particular accessory: Scarves.
“I’ve been in the scarf game 10 years now,” said Ibaka. An answer that has now become worthy of many memes.
And with that, the two basketball players came ready for round two as they arrived for their winning game against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, with a nod to their unfinished argument. While Anunoby flexed a Classic Burberry Check Cashmere Scarf ($600) around his head and neck, Ibaka channelled his inner-Lenny Kravitz (let’s face it, the man who put scarves on everyone’s radar) with an oversized knit number.
