Members of the royal family have made an unexpected trip to Queen Elizabeth's Balmoral estate this morning following the news that doctors are "concerned" for her health. But Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was not among those en route to Scotland.

Though it was previously reported that Meghan would be joining husband Prince Harry on the journey, a source has shared an update on the Sussexes' travel plans.

"A source has [stated] that only Prince Harry has made the trip up to Balmoral," BAZAAR's contributing royal correspondent, Omid Scobie, said in a tweet. "Like the Duchess of Cambridge (who is in Windsor with their three children), the Duchess of Sussex is staying back in England (but still not attending tonight's WellChild Awards)."

Those family members who have traveled to be by the queen's side include Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and Prince Andrew. The monarch's daughter, Princess Anne, is already in Balmoral, as she had scheduled engagements in Scotland.

Buckingham Palace released a statement earlier today about the monarch's current state, saying, "Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision."

Britain's prime minister, Liz Truss, wrote on Twitter, "The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime. My thoughts - and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom - are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time."
