How to Recreate Zoe Saldaña’s Rosy Beauty Look From the 2025 Oscars

Zoe Saldaña took home the Oscar last night for Best Supporting Actress, closing out a monumental awards season filled with praise for her performance in Emilia Peréz. In her role as Rita, Saldaña sings and dances her way through complex themes. But when it comes to beauty, the actress prefers to keep it simple.
Saldaña arrived at the Academy Awards in a Saint Laurent gown that featured a transparent jewel-encrusted bandeau and a voluminous layered skirt. To complement the dress, Saldaña’s glam for the evening was kept quite neutral. “When it comes to makeup, I believe in simplicity—enhancing what’s naturally there,” Saldaña exclusively tells ELLE.
The actress worked with Armani Beauty celebrity makeup artist Vera Steimberg for her radiant red carpet beauty look. Steimberg used the Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 7.75 before brightening the under eyes with the Luminous Silk Concealer and sculpting Saldaña’s cheekbones and jawline with the Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 8.75. For an extra touch of shimmer, Steimberg then added Fluid transparent Glow Enhancer Highlighter in shade 2 to Saldaña’s cheeks and to the tip of her nose.
While Saldaña’s skin looked flawless, her eyeshadow was the focal point of her makeup look. Steimberg opted for a subtle, rosy finish to pay homage to her burgundy dress while adding a flush of color and depth. To achieve this, Steimberg applied Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder in shade 110 to Saldaña’s lids for warmth before mixing the Eye Tint Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeshadows in shades 10S, 56S, and 44S. The eye look was finished off with two generous coats of the new Armani Vertigo Lift Mascara, which was swiped on Saldaña’s top and bottom lashes.
For Saldaña’s glossy, rose-toned lip, Steimberg applied Armani’s Lip Power Lipstick in shade 108 and topped it off with the Prisma Glass Lip Gloss in shade 02 for added shine. Hairstylist Mara Roszak created a soft wavy look using the RŌZ Air Thickening Spray, a curling iron, and Covet & Mane brunette extensions in Portofino and Dubai. The end result was an ethereal look that sparkled while Saldaña accepted her Oscar.
