The New Reese's Cup Is the Answer to Your Peanut Butter Prayers
The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is one that must have been made in heaven. It is the perfect salty-sweet blend that has resulted in a number of delicious desserts and crave-able candies, like the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. But even among Reese's fans, there are those who wish there was just a little (OK, a lot) more peanut butter in the cup. Well, their wish has come true.
This April, Reese's will launch a new Peanut Butter Lover's cup. Made for those who eat peanut butter straight from the jar, this version will contain more peanut butter than the original candy. It will also have a visible peanut butter–like top layer and the traditional chocolate on the bottom.
There is also something for those who wish their Reese's had more of the sweet stuff: a Chocolate Lover's Cup. This version will not only have a thicker chocolate shell, but be made of a richer milk chocolate.
"For years, we've heard people debate their favorite part of a Reese's Cup," Natalie Perera of Reese’s said in a press release. "So, we decided to settle the score and make both sides happy by giving them what they want - Reese's Chocolate Lovers and Reese's Peanut Butter Lovers."
The Peanut Butter Lovers cup and Chocolate Lovers cup will be released in April in both regular and king size- just enough time for your to buy and stuff into your kids' Easter baskets. Unfortunately, they won't be around forever, so stock up while you can.
