It used to seem impossible that sustainable fashion could be trendy and also good for the planet - that is until Reformation revolutionized the industry with their It-girl approved take on eco-friendly style.

Beloved by celebs like Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, the brand best known for their sweet meets sultry dresses and sustainable denim has also branched out into the world of athletic apparel. Their Ref Active collection is made using two different fabrications to suit a wide range of activities from high intensity workouts to lounging at home.

EcoMove is a lightweight and breathable fabric with high stretch and high compression is suitable for sweaty HIIT classes while EcoStretch is designed for more leisurely activities.

SHOP IT: Reformation, $71 (originally $118)

I had a chance to try out the Ecomove High Rise Legging and matching Gwen Ecomove Bra, and can definitely say that they hold up to a wide variety of activities. I've put them through ballet classes, hikes, yoga sessions, and the occasional HIIT workout, and found that they managed to be both comfortable and supportive at the same time.

The Ecomove fabric is a lightweight choice that makes it a great option for sweaty workouts, but I will note that I found the "Serenade" shade (a soft blush pink) to be slightly on the sheer side due to its lighter colour. You'll definitely want to opt for nude undergarments to prevent panty lines from showing, or stick to one of the other darker shades.
