In a new video shared on Instagram, a bikini-clad Bader, 30, candidly discussed her physical appearance and how she's come to terms with her size change post gastric bypass surgery (SADI-S).
"I've been completely in denial of what my size is now for a long time, so I need to get rid of lot of things in my closet and also get new things because I don't even have like underwear that fits me normally at this point," Bader said in the clip as she packed for a trip to Miami.
"I'm kind of starting this journey now," she continued.
The content creator, who's known for her realistic try-on haul videos and advocacy for size inclusivity in the fashion industry, went on to reveal more about her medical procedure and debunked rumors that swirled online.
"I know there's a lot of chatter that I probably got a skin removal surgery too. I did not. I kind of wanted to see what and where my body ends up I guess before I do anything," she said in the video, before pointing out her stretch marks and scars from the surgery.

Bader then explained why she hadn't been making fashion-focused videos paired with her famed commentary that her fans have come to know and love since she rose to prominence on social media in 2021.

Remi Bader opens up about body post weight loss surgery"I stopped making talking videos for a very long time and just showed my outfits to music because I had nothing to say," she admitted, before explaining that she doesn't want to completely change her platform to content revolving around body image.
"I don't want to be a weight loss advocate. I don't want to be a surgery advocate," she said, though she noted that she'll "mix in" tidbits here and there if her followers have questions about it.
Bader concluded the video, "This is my body and that is that. No skin removal here, but there's nothing against it."
In March, Bader broke her silence on her weight loss in a tell-all interview with Self, after months of online speculation
The decision to have the surgery, however, wasn't easy for the creator, who built a platform on social media embracing her body as a plus-size influencer.

I will always believe that you could be a bigger size and be healthy and happy," she told the outlet. "I was for a while, that wasn’t a lie. But there was a point when it shifted, and I became really unhappy."
Bader revealed the challenges she faced immediately following the surgery, explaining the intense recovery process that took an abnormally long time. She also said she was surprised at how fast she lost the weight.
Of her weight loss, Bader told Self that she "never thought it would be this quick." Embracing her new body is something she's still learning how to do, admitting that she's "healing and figuring it out."
Still, the influencer is committed to being transparent with her followers on social media as she learns to embrace change. She concluded, "I’m going to continue to be online and cry and share and not share and be me, and that’s not changing."
